Meet our Team

Darren was appointed as CEO of Drapers' Multi-Academy Trust in April 2023. As the former Principal of Drapers' Academy (2015 - 2023), he has an in-depth knowledge of the Trust and well-established relationships with the leadership and governance. 

With over 28 years' experience in education and as a senior leader with London schools, he has valuable experience in the sector and knows the importance of providing quality education and new opportunities. 

Darren is committed to improving and growing the offering of schools in the area by being able to give children an all-through Drapers' education. He is passionate about providing opportuntity and mentorship to the young people of Havering through the help of our sponsors, the Drapers' Company and Queen Mary University of London.
